http://www.dental-marketing-wizard.com/goldmineWhether you are a new blogger, or one that has been blogging for a while, you are probably wondering how to get more sales, visitors, and readers to your blog on a weekly basis. Marketing your blog the right way will give you the results that you are looking for. You are going to find that you can not just make a blog, post in it a couple of times, and then expect for the world to find you. That just will not happen how much you wish for it. However, you can market your blog effectively, and get the results that you are looking for.
To begin blog marketing you first need a blog. The next step is to ensure that your blog is updated frequently. Post content in your blog regularly for the best results. Some will post once a day and others once a week. Whichever it is, be consistent with it and know that it will pay off to continue posting as you should. This is a great way to get started with blog marketing. You wont have a blog to market if you do not post in it regularly.
While most free blogs all look the same, you can make sure that your blog design stands out. You don’t want your blog to look and feel like everyone else’s, so make it different. Having your own look is a huge plus in the blog marketing world. You will find that most blogs all look the same and you can have your own look by just using HTML and adjusting the code to suit your taste. You are going to see that this will truly make a difference with your blog as well as your readers. Try to get a theme that is going to match the market that you are promoting in your blog. Doing so will make it look even more professional. You don’t want your readers to confuse your blog with others do you? If this is something that you are concerned about, you will definitely want to make sure that you change yours to make more personable. However, if you are not worried about it or concerned about it in the least, you can leave the design as one of the free templates that you see so frequently used.
Something else that will help you with your blog marketing is exchanging links with authority blogs and websites that are in your same market is another great way to get the word out about your blog. The authority sites are going to have a higher page rank, and will also be listed high in Google’s search results. So do some searches and check those out and see if they are up to exchanging links. If they are not, you could always just add those into your blog roll. You do not need permission to do that if they are not into linking. However, in the world of blogs, most blog owners are thankful for all links, and are willing to return the favor. This is a great way to market your blog that some do not think about or use. If you use this technique to get your blog seen, you will not be sorry. You can even use this for website marketing, and you will see a lot sites do that.

http://www.dental-marketing-wizard.com/goldmineWhy do you need a web site?
Given what we’ve seen with prospective patient behaviour (the Internet is the #1 resource patients use to search for dentists and other healthcare providers, surpassing yellow pages and other off-line resources), this is a good sign.
“Although spending on traditional media, such as magazines and radio, has been falling in the UK, more than £2 billion was spent on internet advertising in 2006. It is evident that more and more companies are realising the serious benefits of advertising on-line, as internet-savvy consumers choose to shop over the web to save time and money”.*3rd April 2007 – ZenithOptimedia
Where do you get new patients from ? It will probably be local advertising and/or the local yellow pages.
Why Internet Dental Marketing Is So Important
Then here is-Why need your own website!
1.A website is cheaper than the Yellow Pages and you can change it when you want.
2.It is cheaper than local advertising.
3.A great tool for interaction with your patient.
4.You can supply much more information to your customers than through any other methods.
5.Reduced running costs- If your practice needs to produce brochures or any kind of sales literature, it is cheaper to have the customer download it to his machine and print it then you to produce a brochure which you then send to him/her.
6.You can use it to attract customers from outside you local area.Technology is advancing at a rapid rate and internet access via broadband is becoming part of the normal household. More and more people are searching on-line for services and products. People prefer to know their service provider prior to trying out the services. When your web site is seen on-line, people feel that you are keeping up with technology and trends. Web site advertising has even overtaken the Yellow Pages as local advertising tool.
According to a survey in 2006 by Advanstar, dentists are getting on board with building websites (over 65% had websites or were planning on building one within the next year).

The Hidden Goldmine In Your Practice Is Waiting To Be Released-Get Involved In Networking!

http://www.dental-marketing-wizard.com/goldmineIt’s a way to build long-term business relationships that connect you to new associates and patients. It is always believed and probably a fact that more deals are clinched on the golf course than in a boardroom. Getting out and about can lead to vast referrals.
Networking through organizations where your niche market congregates is another great way to make contacts. You need to find out where people of related professions hang out. It may be restaurants, health clubs, sports centres and venues. If your target market hangs out at F1-racing, than you need to be there. Meet up with colleagues and socialize more, but stand out in a crowd. You need to distinguish yourself from the mainstream of thinking. Dentists need to be able to advertise themselves as well as their practice. Each dentist has marketability individually, even without a dental practice.
By being controversial you will get noticed earlier. It is much easier to be remembered for flamboyancy and creating a stir, than disappearing into a crowd. Soon you will get people noticing and talking about you. Always have striking business cards to hand out. This is a very fine line of marketing, but is part of branding.
It is all about making a statement, telling people what you have on offer and then stepping up to produce it! Keep your dental team up to date and ready. Expand your networking by sponsoring a niche fund-raising event to promote your business.
By letting people know that you have an expert dental team to back you up and that they are producing excellent dental services will lead to referrals. Monitor those referrals and nurture them. Let them really have a unique dental experience and you will be off to a flying start.
One of the best ways to grow your dental practice…or any business …is through referrals. Word-of-mouth referrals cost you nothing…yet referrals provide the best qualified new customers. Getting patients to refer has always been a challenge for most dental professionals. When patients do refer friends, neighbours, co-workers, or family members, a good referring patient may only refer two or three new patients in a one year period.
Get feedback and testimonials from these clients regarding their experience. The time you spend on them will be well rewarding in the future.

A Daunting Period For Uk Dentists

http://www.dental-marketing-wizard.com/goldmineDentistry in the United Kingdom is in the process of phenomenal change and come April 2011 guaranteed funding for NHS practices will disappear. The initial spectre of the end of ring-fencing in 2009 has been a great cause of anxiety, but a low-key announcement, on an unrelated press release, of a two year extension, preceded the budget. Traditionally the dental profession has been guided and directed significantly by the National Health Service, but this profession is now undergoing a long overdue transition to the private sector.
So existing NHS practices will need to have a plan in place or base their future income on hope. Hope there will be more money; hope things will improve, and hope their practices will survive. Is this really the scientific way to approach a business? Do I need to answer this? There are even predictions of terminating limited contracts and downward pressure on UDA values. A daunting period is lying ahead.
